I've been tagged

as one of the hapless fools to answer a survey. So I must answer it in sum.

1. Total number of books I own: Maybe 50+. In fantasy, I have a five books of Harry Potter and the three parts of the Lord of the Rings. In real life, I have some computer books on HTML 4.0, Windows 3.11 (ha!), and various other topics. I also have the Age of Science, Encarta Quotations, Shakespeare for All Times, Future of Freedom, Killer Angels, Style: Toward Clarity and Grace, Keene on Chess, some sci-fi books, some sign language books and books on Deafness.

2. Last book I bought: For school: Oceanography: An Introduction to Marine Science. But for myself: 'Twould be Eragon.

3. Last book I read: Can't remember. It's been so long since I ever really finished reading a book. Usually I start and drop it by the tenth page. I would say I don't have time for it, but maybe I don't love reading fictional story enough to make time for it.

4. Five books of notable influence on me: Shakespeare: The Invention of the Human; Oxford American Dictionary (yes! really, it helped me with my vocabulary); Signing Naturally; and Dicho y Hecho (No Sooner Said Than Done, it exposed me to the Spanish Language and probably constitute the first second-language course I ever took).
